I see videos all the time of guys testing the limits of their Phantom s and it is waaaay beyond 1600 feet. I am only looking for something like 2600 feet - about 1/2 mile.
I contacted DJI support and was given the details of DJI Service agent here in Thailand. They initially repaired the drone and sent it back. But the issue was even worse, now they have quoted $1000+ to replace the Core Board. I too dont understand why my Core Board would fail through lack of use. All heights are relative ti the launch point. DJIDrummond said: the drone again was suggesting i was at max altitude but I was only flying 30/50mts off the ground where I was albeit 450mts up ! The limit was not because of the altitude of your launch point.
