Program II means you create your degree in whatever you’d like, through classes Duke offers. You can’t’ do Program II and then another major - it’s just your Program II major. A double major means you pick 2 already existing majors at Duke, and complete the coursework for both. A double major does not mean a dual degree, you generally
Maths demanded more time, since you could do okay in philosophy by only really researching the stuff you had to write papers on. But I think it was harder to get a really good mark in philosophy. So my STEM subject was much harder to pass than philosophy, but it was easier to get a 90% or above in a maths subject. arimill.

A double major is when you earn two separate but related majors, such as journalism and advertising. There are also differences in the time commitment and difficulty: A dual degree takes less time to complete than a double major and can be done in four years iL4Zur.
