Using GoPro Max as 360° motorcycle dash cam. I currently use a Hero 7 Black to record all my motorcycle rides for insurance purposes. The GoPro is mounted on my handlebars with a RAM mount, and is plugged in to my bike’s 12V accessory socket so I don’t have to worry about battery life. I use a 256GB SD card, and record in 4K.

They are cheaper and made specifically for being a dash cam, I'd look into those options. If you are going to dash cam for something you are filming, the GoPro would be good for that application. I just think a GoPro is too much camera for what I think you need it for. Just get a dash cam. They aren’t expensive.
