However, the sub-woofer for the said unit only works with the soundbar. It doesn't have any option to connect it to the receiver at all. I know this unit is very important to you, but it will not work without it's soundbar. We highly recommend to return the item to the store where you purchase it. Bummer.

I have got a HKTS16 Harman Kardon surround sound system setup and have been using it for a couple of years now with no problems at all, however last week, all of a sudden the sub stopped working. The Sub is a HKTS210SUB/230 and this is where it gets strange There is power going to it, it is set to auto on, so will U dont need a big box back there at all. The slim subwoofers available today are amazing and only require like 0.35 air space to work which will fit perfectly in the subwoofer compartment and have anywhere from 600-1000 watts.
